Group therapy with us is where healing meets community. Many of our group members arrive feeling isolated in their struggles-burned out, anxious, or weighed down by old relational wounds-while still being the reliable one everyone else turns to. Sitting with others who "get it" can be a powerful antidote to that loneliness.
In our groups, you receive the benefits of trauma-informed therapy while building relationships with people who are also ready to do their inner work. Together, we look at patterns that show up in friendships, family, and romantic partnerships, and we practice new ways of relating right there in the room. You learn how to name your needs, set boundaries, and stay present in conflict, rather than shutting down or over-functioning. Because we bring our experience as Women of Color into the space, we do not ignore the impact of racism, sexism, and cultural expectations. If racialized violence, code-switching, or being the "only one" in a setting has shaped how safe you feel with others, we talk about that openly and hold it with care. You will never be asked to minimize those realities.
Before you join a group, we meet for a one-on-one screening session to understand your goals, answer questions, and make sure the group is a good fit. Once you are enrolled, you will receive a welcome email with dates, logistics, and guidelines-including our shared agreement around confidentiality, which keeps the group space sacred.
Groups typically meet every other week for 90 minutes to 2 hours. Over time, many people find that the skills they practice in group-honest communication, vulnerability, self-advocacy-begin to ripple out into the rest of their lives, creating steadier relationships and a deeper sense of belonging.
