Individual Therapy

Individual therapy with us is a quiet place where you can finally stop performing and start exhaling. Many of our clients are high-achieving, high-functioning adults who look "together" on the outside, but inside feel exhausted, irritable, or stuck in the same painful patterns. In our work together, you do not have to be the strong friend, the fixer, or the educator.

We draw from trauma-informed approaches, including Somatic Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and narrative work, to help you understand why your nervous system reacts the way it does, and how early experiences still shape your relationships today. Instead of forcing you to retell every detail of what happened, we move at a pace that respects your body, your story, and your capacity. Sessions are collaborative and grounded. We might slow down and notice what your body is doing as you talk about a hard conversation with a partner, or gently meet the part of you that believes you always have to overdeliver at work. Over time, you begin to recognize your own cues sooner, set boundaries with less guilt, and respond to life from choice rather than survival mode.

Because we are culturally responsive, we name the realities of racism, sexism, and intergenerational expectations when they show up. You do not have to translate your experience; we welcome it as it is. Whether you are carrying parentification wounds, complicated family loyalty, spiritual questions, or burnout from being "the only one" in certain spaces, there is room for all of it here.
